En pleine période de remises de prix, après les Golden Globes et avant les Oscars, s'est déroulée la cérémonie des Critics' Choice Awards, qui récompense à la fois le cinéma et la télévision. Spotlight, Mad Max : Fury Road et Leonardo DiCaprio sont parmi les gagnants de cette soirée, organisée à Santa Monica, le 17 janvier. Mais s'il y a eu des lauréats et des perdants, il y a eu aussi beaucoup de stars glamour sur le tapis rouge !
Nommée pour sa performance dans la série dramatique Nashville, Hayden Panettiere est rentrée bredouille, mais elle a eu la possibilité de faire sensation devant les photographes. Il faut dire qu'avec sa tenue ultra sexy, l'actrice américaine, qui a récemment révélé avoir souffert d'une dépression post-partum après la naissance en décembre 2014 de sa fille Kaya, était rayonnante. Elle a posé avec son amoureux, le boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
Liv Tyler fait partie également des vedettes du tapis rouge. Moins d'un an après l'arrivée du petit Sailor Gene, la fille de Steven Tyler et fiancée de David Gardner est de nouveau enceinte. Il s'agira de son troisième enfant. En attendant l'heureux événement, elle arborait une tenue noire qui soulignait à merveille ses formes de future maman. Elle est venue remettre un prix pendant la soirée, en compagnie de son partenaire de la série The Leftovers, "Monsieur Jennifer Aniston", alias Justin Theroux.
Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl), Kirsten Dunst (Fargo) et Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) font partie des heureuses gagnantes de la soirée. Soulignons aussi les apparitions élégantes d'une foule de comédiennes qui n'ont pas eu le bonheur d'être récompensées : Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story), Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin), Marisa Tomei (Empire), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Les 8 Salopards), Helen Mirren (Trumbo), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World), Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn) ou encore Rachel McAdams (Spotlight) - même si le film a reçu le prix du meilleur casting. Les sublimes Kate Beckinsale (Absolutely Anything) et Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max : Fury Road) ont également assisté à cette soirée. Elles étaient elles aussi en beauté.
