Le 8 juin 2014 à 6h 30 du matin, Joshua James Corbett, 39 ans, s'était introduit dans la maison de Sandra Bullock et avait frappé à la porte de sa chambre. Elle avait fermé sa porte à double tour et avait composé immédiatement le 911. La police avait pu arrêter l'homme qui était encore dans la maison.
