King Felipe and Queen Letizia, during the annual reception of the Accredited Diplomatic Corps in Spain, at the Royal Palace, on January 31, 2024, in Madrid (Spain). The Diplomatic Corps accredited in Spain is composed in total by 126 Embassies resident in our country and almost 800 Consulates, 153 career and more than 600 honorary ones. In addition, another 49 countries are accredited to Spain, but have residence in Paris, London, Brussels or Geneva. On the other hand, 42 international organizations have their headquarters in Spain. The Diplomat is a public official expert in international relations with a view to being accredited before other States and also in International Organizations with a representative character.
